    How we produce

We are dedicated to various agroindustry crops, especially cotton, cocoa, grains and B2B products. By combining the characteristics of the region in which our production units are located, such as privileged topography, the availability of natural resources and the climate, with our modern techniques of cultivation, harvesting and storage, we ensure high quality products with high traceability, which allows us to establish long-term partnerships with customers from various sectors.

Furthermore, through our shared value strategy, we are committed to boosting our contribution to the creation of sustainable agriculture, following the guidelines of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), more specifically the SDGs of Sustainable Agriculture (SDGs 2), Health and Welfare (SDGs 3) and Sustainable Production (SDGs 12).

    Cotton

Our cotton operation focuses on the high quality fiber market. Since 2018, we have invested in the development, quality and sustainability of the cotton crop, which serves as a pillar for the growth of the company and the sector.

To meet the demands of demanding markets located in China, Indonesia and Japan, we invest in fronts such as supplies, harvesting machinery, pesticide application technology, irrigation, fertirrigation and processing.

    Cocoa

In 2017, we started planting cocoa with the most varied germplasm banks available, in order to test the most suitable types for the region in which we operate. In addition, to serve the largest consumers of fine cocoa and type 1 in the world, we also developed a fruit fermentation and drying system, using the sugar index as a base (brix) for varieties of each type of cocoa and we invest in research and mechanization, creating technologies that enable management at all stages of the process.

    Grains

Throughout the year, we highlight in our grain yields the planting of soybean, corn seed, sorghum and millet. Intended primarily for human food and/or animal feed, our grains also find space for other applications. The soybean we produce, for example, is highly sought after for use as raw material in the production of cosmetics, plastics, paints, adhesives, fibers, biofuels, among other items. Corn, on the other hand, is used in ethanol production.

In 2019, we built our second grain silo and invested in static capacity to dry, clean and store about 15,000 tons of grain per year.

We have a high-level relationship with trading, reducing risks and taking advantage of future exchanges (in Chicago and New York), while promoting price stability.

    B2B

Through partnerships with national and multinational industries, we continue to develop a work to eliminate the distance between the field and industry, providing supplies, always with responsibility and respect for the environment.
